I now have two pieces of fabric: one is a doughnut that looks more like a tree skirt than a girl skirt, the other fits me but is roughly 4" wide. The problem now is how to rejoin them into a functional garment. In the mean time, lunch.&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;12:16 - My best bet is probably to add a strip of a different fabric in between. So now I have a striped skirt. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;1:05  - Sewing straight to round takes a really long time. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;1:34 - Now I've reached that mid-project stage where I doubt my choice of materials, pattern, and general skill.
