In which I attempt to sew a circle skirt

11:55 - I have rediscovered the important distinction between diameter and radius. I now have two pieces of fabric: one is a doughnut that looks more like a tree skirt than a girl skirt, the other fits me but is roughly 4" wide. The problem now is how to rejoin them into a functional garment. In the mean time, lunch.

12:16 - My best bet is probably to add a strip of a different fabric in between. So now I have a striped skirt.

1:05 - Sewing straight to round takes a really long time.

1:34 - Now I've reached that mid-project stage where I doubt my choice of materials, pattern, and general skill. Time to move on to something else.

To be continued.
